Tuesday, July 15, 2008 AOL Has New Pesonal Finance Site -- Google Readies Google Finance and Yahoo! Leads the Pack Ken Li over at Reuters has what appears to be the first report out today about the new personal finance channel from AOL called WalletPop. The launch comes as the portals are gearing up personal finance sites which have become increasingly popular. Yahoo! Finance is the industry leader in traffic, according to a recent report by comScore. But AOL is a close second and the launch of WalletPop might well put it in the lead. Here's an early review from Mashable. Google Finance doesn't even register on the comScore ranking of business sites. But Google Finance is still in beta and has been around for just about a year. In our recent talk with Google's R.J. Pittman, he talks about global expansion of Google Finance.
