so my first vid of shriek was absolutely horrible lol, this ones a little bit better, and its the first 3 mins of the song (stupid camera limits vids to 3 mins). sounds horribly out of tune for the first note lol i wasnt ready cuz it starts so suddenly :p errr any more excuses..... im glad it cut off in the solo cuz im crap... ignore the stupid syu impression :p youll see what i mean......... also, i learned this song by ear which is why i keep getting so many things wrong, i dont have a tab so its hard to remember everything that i worked out lol. so i just found a tab on UG

ive remade this to demonstrate the total difference in tone from the pods tones to guitar rigs tones. do you prefer this one or the pod version.i think this one has a more genuine tone to gilmours. sorry about the video im not sure what i did wrong and i could have positioned the video better to include my head but hey who wants to see my ugly mush.some minor mistakes as well.
A little blues improv jam, not very coherent. Demonstrating how I like to mix arpeggios with scalar sections to create interesting runs. PRS Singlecut trem has Seymour Duncan Custom 5/59 pickups, going into a Keeley modded Boss SD-1, an Xotic AC Plus and a Line6 DL-4 for the loop and the delay. Amp is the Laney Lionheart L20H, clean channel, all controls (except volume) at 12 o’clock, into a Mesa rectifier 2x12 cab.

I’m playing along with the song "Not Alone" by All That Remains. The solo took me a while to transcribe and get up to speed due to the odd tapping/sliding transitions. You will notice a transition in the video just before the solo. This is because I put two takes together instead of trying to play the song perfectly in one shot.
