This is a very short presentation of the presets I'm using on my new amp, which is a Line6 Spider 3 120W. The first one is my basic clean channel, the 2. is almost the same but I added some phaser on it. The 3. one is a creamy solo sound for playing blues, and the last one is my dirty channel for heavy riffs and "heroic" solos...:)

Me playing House Of Sleep by Amorphis. This song was in the Eclipse Album that came out on 2006. I played it on my Ibanez JS1000 and sounds are from Line 6 Guitar Port with Line 6 Gearbox. Backing track is from Guitar Pro 5.0.
So I used the deviever peep light sensor expression pedal with any of the wah settings on the line 6 M9 to give a faux wah probe setting. Lots of different wah sounds to choose from and with the ability to sweep the expression very rapidly. Could also work with a expression pedal with a loose or broken treadle. Lack of light makes this not the best, but it is really cool to mess with, and/or if you set up a light to stay on it.
I thought I would share another batch of my metal tones I have created with Line 6's Toneport GX and Gearbox software. A lot of guitar players seemed to like my originals so I am hoping they will like these even more. These are nice and heavy tones and versatile. The gearbox software is awesome and I have found that tweaking the tones on the head units first and then kicking in the stomp and eq pedals really kicks it into gear.
A little extended version of the other low F# riffage I posted earlier. Now don't hang me for this but the 00:49-01:11 part is where I payed little tribute to Meshuggah. It sounds almost like the beginning of In death - is Life.
