A little blues improv jam, not very coherent. Demonstrating how I like to mix arpeggios with scalar sections to create interesting runs. PRS Singlecut trem has Seymour Duncan Custom 5/59 pickups, going into a Keeley modded Boss SD-1, an Xotic AC Plus and a Line6 DL-4 for the loop and the delay. Amp is the Laney Lionheart L20H, clean channel, all controls (except volume) at 12 o’clock, into a Mesa rectifier 2x12 cab.
I’m playing along with the song "Not Alone" by All That Remains. The solo took me a while to transcribe and get up to speed due to the odd tapping/sliding transitions. You will notice a transition in the video just before the solo. This is because I put two takes together instead of trying to play the song perfectly in one shot. Throughout most of this song there are two distinct guitar parts, and I am only playing one of these parts. For this reason, my recorded guitar may sound a bit different than what you're accustomed to hearing from the album track. If you pan the album track all the way to the left or right, you will hear these two distinct guitar parts. I transcribed this song entirely by ear, as all of the existing tabs I could find were atrocious. The tuning is D standard and I playing my ESP KH-2 through a Line 6 POD 2.0. Ive been able to dial in some great sounding 5150/soldano type tones and keep coming back to the amber metal channel which is what im playin through here. not too sweet, nice and crunchy with plenty of sustain and juicy harmonics

I got a request for some lead and bluesy type tones from my GFS pre-wired HSS pickguard equipped Strat, so here ya go! I have GFS pups in my Strat and my SG(Dream 90) and I have no problems recommending them to others. Don’t be fooled by the low price - they're quite good and well worth the money. as always, please excuse the clams - I'm more of a riffer than a lead player. GFS rocks! Me - well, I try... hehehe
