A demo if my Atomic Reactor 1x12 50watt tube combo with my Line6 POD X3 Live. I'm using my Ibanez RG370DX BLH with a Dimarzio Breed bridge pickup. The microphone is a T.bone MB-85Beta going into a Line6 Toneport UX2 then recorded with Sonoma Riffworks (WWhich also provides the drums).The first riff I played was from Therapy?'s Screamager (from their Troublegum album). The clean riff was just improvised.Note: the lead to the clean part didn't sound right, but I only noticed after packing up my camera, so I re-recorded that part using the same rig, but as you may notice, for that section, my fingers do not move with the music! Sorry for being lazy :-)

This is my second metal composition for YouTube! All of these riffs were written during the past 3 months, and I spent quite a bit of time coming up with an arrangement that worked. It was more challenging than "Arrival", because there are 4 tempo and time signature changes in the song! I had to experiment a bit to make the transitions between these sections smooth, but I'm pretty happy with the finished product. I think it's quite different from my first song ("Arrival"), but hopefully you will like it! As usual, I recorded all guitar and bass (pitch-shifted guitar) tracks direct using my Line 6 POD X3. Drum tracks were created using Toontrack EZdrummer with the Drumkit <b>...</b>

A modded Blackheart BH5H and BH112 demo. checkout http://blackheart.rowbinet.co.uk for a schematic of my permanent PA mod. As well as theat mod, I've replaced the stock tubes with a JJ/Tesla EL84 and ECC83S. Lastly I've replaced the stock speaker with a Celestion Seventy 80 which is more neutral, as I use speaker simulations from my POD X3L.Other gear used was an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Black Beauty, with no mods, going into a Line 6 POD X3 Live, then to the blackheart, then miced with a Thomann T.Bone MB-85 Beta (a copy of a Shure SM58 and SM57 all in one) going into a LIne 6 Toneport UX2, and finially to Sonoma Riffworks Standard for the recording and the drums. I used no post processing, and I'm new to mic'ing amps, so the sound could be improved on a little, but as it is, the video is about 95% of the way to sounding like it does in real life... so I'm happy.If you want the POD X3 tone I used, please visit http://tones.rowbinet.co.ukFor all other Blackheart info, visit http://www.blackhearteng.com

Hi everybody, this is my 1st version of EVH’s famous guitar solo "Eruption" after practicing a few weeks the youtube "How to play eruption video lessons" from SINASL1 (btw: premium work, thanks man!) I used my Steve Vai Ibanez JEM7 at the bridge pickup for the recording - the old Fender Strat (EVH used a strat for it) in front of me was just creating too much hum with the light directly shooting electrons on the poor singlecoil pickups.... I created a little test song in order to give the listeners a glimpse of what the Pod X3 Live! is capable of tone-wise. I used stock presets with the exception of the lead guitar tone. I would also like to apologise for the poor mixing and mastering. The mix could sound a lot better if in hands of a pro sound engineer.
I tried to cover the main functions but I didnt get everything scrammed into this 10 minutes frame...anyway this should give you a smooth start

A test of the Stratocaster simulation in Line 6 Variax 500. Epiphone Blues Custom 30 used with a fuzz pedal (simulated by Line6 Pod XT, but just the pedal no other amp or effect) in front in the dirty channel. Feedback dynamic is quite different from an electric guitar but result is absolutely not bad at all.
